The Whitsunday Apartments website is wholly owned and funded by Genetiqe Tourism Marketing Australia.

For over 17 years Genetiqe has been promoting the Whitsundays region to hundreds of thousands of visitors, and generating millions of dollars in revenue for tourism operators including accommodation, tours and attractions.

The Whitsunday Apartments website is solely funded by Genetiqe, and is not directly connected or supported by any tourism groups, local or state government services.

The Whitsundays Apartments website was created by Chris Bourke, a regular local to the Whitsundays region, who found the tourism marketing of the region inadequate, and wanted to help promote the region by developing a number of tourism directories to support the Queensland tourism industry.

Chris Bourke is also a web developer with many years in tourism marketing, advertising and signage, as well as specialised in online tourism web development and search engine optimisation for the local tourism industry through his design agency Smartfish

The Whitsunday Apartments website is now visited by hundreds of people daily, in search of local guide, hotel and resort bookings, and tour information to assist them in planning their ideal Whitsunday holiday.

The Whitsunday Apartments website recently underwent a full redevelopment to provide an even easier to use service that we hope will continue to attract hundreds of thousands more visitors to the region.
